3-4 hour drive to Aurora was not that bad at all with the view that you will see on the way. You will passed by literally 6 mountain ranges which is known as the “Bulubundukin ng Sierra Madre” it was a pretty rough ride but it was fun. Along the way, you will passed by a bridge that would give you a 360 degree view of the mountain ranges where the Pantambangan Dam lies, it was surreal and “DAM” beautiful!
Finally arrived at Baler, the weather’s perfectly fine but the waves somewhat failed us. May is not a good month to surf but still almost all the resorts and hotels were fully booked so we decided to rent a beach front house with 2 rooms. One is with A/C and the other one with Air Continuously Flowing! LOL! The house was not well maintained at all but it’s a definite place to relax and literally do anything you want inside. :p
There are only few restaurants near the beach making it always full, so we went to town to check out some places we could eat. For two days we ate at Gerry Shan’s Place the ultimate buffet in Baler for Php150.00! A variety of Filipino food from appetizers-dessert! I must say, i enjoyed the food considering the price!
Memefying while waiting for our lunch! =p
I saw this painting in one of the hotels there, signed by my friend’s name but definitely not his!
New Found Friend during our trippy trip! =)
If you are a sucker for stars, oh my you would fall for Baler. The night sky is bright enough, the sea is knee deep plus the waves were not that strong which is perfect for a night dip! 3 days and 2 nights was not enough so we decided to extend for another day! We all went home very relaxed, so relaxed that we had a hangover from the beach life! If you want to forget everything for a while, Baler is definitely a nice place to escape!
Sunrise on our fourth day, if not for work we could have stayed for another day =))
i miss posting here! =) will be more active from this day on!
so tonight we have a reservation at apt1B in Makati. Wait for my blog about the resto! ciao!
